so things have been happening a lot in my life recently.
i could blame that on my slackness of posting blogs.
but i wont.
there are 2 main things that have happened.
1. i got an internship in jakarta and i leave 29 dec. super excited and happy.
2. i got a job at the abc doing marketing. i have almost finished, it was very temporary and lucky. and super amazing as i have no experience at all in marketing.
i have written a fair whack of articles.
check em out.
bike kitchen story
this one is actually from when i was on work experience. but i like it. the bike kitchen is great.

i guess what i wanted to say in this post is that life throws so much at us everyday, all the time. we constantly have to make decisions about what we are doing, where we are going, our purpose, our aims, our aspirations. i guess because i have had so much happen and my life seems to be going 'somewhere' i start to question where? and why?
do we need a reason? do we need to have something to aim for? hmmm. it is something to consider, i think too many people worry about what they are aiming for, the future, they dont live in the here and now.
i have had some terrible things happen to people close to me recently and it brings one back down to earth. live in the now. enjoy the now. yeah. theres my inspiring talk for the moment.
how about some pretty photos? we all like pretty photos.
speaking of living in the here and now its good to enjoy yourself. and i did at one of the best festivals ive been to a couple of weeks ago, it was harvest, and the flaming lips, tv on the radio, portishead, clap your hands say yeah, the family stone among many others headlined. every single act was astounding and i couldnt stop smiling the whole time. it was also really great to not be surrounded by drunk teens and sweaty jocks. everyone was there for the music, i have never been in such a tame mosh pit. i think i was the drunk teen/sweaty jock of the festival.
it was a beautiful hot day.
we also hung out in melbourne and did the typical melbourne things. dumplings. vegie bar. vintage shopping. beers.
and the moral of the story is....
smile. enjoy life. live in the here and now. dont worry too much about the future because you will look back on today and regret not worrying about the present. does that make sense?
golly, i dont know where all this inspirational stuff came from. haha it must be from some music ive been listening to. women with power - erykah badu, lauryn hill, joss stone.
