So I have decided to make a new blog, one that I write from home, this may sound strange but when I am home I think I will have more time to sit down and write things. Its hard when you are in Bulgaria and sitting on your laptop when someone walks past and says do you want a beer about 3 times and then on the 3rd time says ‘we are about to go out, do you want to come?’ to which I close my laptop and leave or lose the 2 hours worth of blog writing I did do. I just can’t do it when I am travelling, too many distractions and other exciting things to do. I wanted to be in the moment! But I would also love to have kept this blog. I have to just admit it. I am lazy... (maybe I should get some Lazeeboy furniture? Bad joke...) But I have decided to start this blog, mostly full of my photos, a little bit of writing and a few fond memories from my travels. So it will be a sort of travel blog as I will be talking about the adventures I had, it will just be ‘had’ not ‘having’. Thats not to say that I can’t have adventures in exciting Tassie. Come on Tassie! That little lovely island awaits me in approximately 5 hours. Bring me something new and exciting! (unlikely – but we can only hope.)
I will talk a little bit about my flight, not too much because it was a very boring 34 hour affair, I slept maybe 12 hours which is pretty good and the rest was spent restlessly tossing and turning or reading or waiting in airports. But on my flight from KL to Melbourne I woke up at maybe 4am and looked out my window, ahead there was a mountain and I assumed we were flying over some incredibly high mountains or just one mountain and then it was flashing, and I just thought that was the airplane lights. But dah Ella how high up is this plane, probably 5kms or something... what single mountain could that be? It was a mountainess form of clouds and beneath a lightning storm was lighting up the world, it was amazing to see it from the top, like a light spectacle- the clouds would just glow and flash every few minutes and you could see the clouds slightly changing. Then about half an hour later i looked out my window again and the sun was rising and I could see the curve of the earth, not even kidding! The sun was coming through the clouds, i could see that one part of the earth was experiencing the morning rays and the other half was in darkness, that also was quite incredible.
So keep reading and looking on. It may be really boring but then it may be really interesting, who knows what my travelling mind and eyes may find in my little homey wome.
Very much enjoying my music right now: Clap Your Hands Say Yeah – (album of same name) and Circlesquare – Songs About Dancing.

this is being bookmarked instead of the other blog! look forward to reading stories from Tasmania and your travels, since you are a very good writer xo
